Only one dog is taken into our Boot Camp program at any time.

If you answered yes to any of the above, you might want to consider if your dog will really enjoy a camping trip. Being outdoors is highly stimulating and for a dog that is used to being indoors, it can be sensory overload and even frightening. Camping also means respecting wildlife and other campers, which means your dog will be on leash or tied up most of the time and will need to keep barking to a minimum. If your dog is very excitable, a barker, afraid of strangers, or likely to get overly wound-up around wildlife, you might consider a different kind of outdoor activity more suited to your dog.

Dog Camp is very flexible with adding, changing and canceling reservations.

Thanks to its extremely tailored approach to each dog, Boot Camp is effective at fast-tracking a number of positive changes in your dog’s behavior. Our rigorous system can help any dog. Some of the things that we can help address include:

Welcome to Dog Camp... Come play with us!

My favorite thing about Camp Dogwood is the combination of active and not-so-active activities. Miss Daisy's is the result of years of planning "the perfect dog camp" and finally became a reality in 1995. The benefits of a day of structured play are many. Dogs brought consistently to Miss Daisy’s are often more confident and well-adjusted in their everyday lives. Camp gives them an opportunity to socialize with other dogs and people. Play with a purpose under the supervision of one of two certified trainers or other highly-educated staff gives them an outlet for their energy.

“Does my dog need a boot camp?”

Miss Daisy's Dog Camp is a unique training school, activity center and boarding facility located almost midway between Tomball and The Woodlands, just north of Houston. After caring for people's pets since 1987, the owner, Debbie Oliver, CPDT-KSA, felt there was a real need for an alternative to kennels and traditional dog day care.
