Southeastern Guide Dogs pays for veterinary medical care and provides monthly heartworm medication. Raisers are responsible for food, leash, collar, crate, toys, flea/tick prevention, travel to the Puppy Raiser meetings twice a month, and travel to Southeastern’s Palmetto, FL campus to pick up and drop off the puppy. These expenses may be tax deductible.

Thank you for visiting Last Day Dog Rescue. We are a 501(c)(3) organization with a simple mission - saving animals. A no-kill rescue based in Livonia with foster homes across Michigan. We take in these beautiful transient creatures and do our very best to provide them with safety, medical care, and LOVE. Since 2007 saving thousands of dogs and cats. While we openly take in puppies and dogs who are in good shape, our focus is on saving those who are most likely not saved without our help. We were founded on the principle that all life is precious, regardless of breed, appearance, or age. Please consider adopting one of our dogs, puppies, cats or kittens. We are a group of volunteers whose goal is to save the lives of homeless dogs suffering in high-kill shelters, as well as owner-surrender dogs who need to be re-homed due to unfortunate circumstances. We are not a shelter, and we have no central location for the dogs we rescue. We pull dogs from various shelters and provide foster homes until they are adopted. In doing so, we hope to provide an alternative to the purchase of puppy mill and pet store dogs, thereby reducing the demand for, and ultimately, the supply of, such dogs. We strive to match each dog with the right family after the dog has been observed in a foster home.Thinking about adopting a new family member? Rescue Dogs Rock, Inc., rescues puppies and dogs from high kill shelters, owner surrenders, puppy mill throw aways and medically neglected and suffering dogs and give them the proper medical care, then we do our best to find them the perfect home. We are deeply committed to healing the physical and emotional wounds these animals have suffered.Puppy mills usually house dogs in overcrowded and unsanitary conditions without adequate veterinary care, food, water or socialization. In order to maximize profits, female dogs are bred at every opportunity with little-to-no recovery time between litters. Puppy mill puppies, often as young as eight weeks of age, are sold to pet shops or directly to the public over the Internet, through newspaper ads and at swap meets and flea markets.
