Amazing Doggie Beds
We have spent 100's of dollars on beds for our 3 small dogs. They chew through everything we have purchased, including the Kong beds that are supposed to be tough. I found this [Kuranda] bed online and bought a small one for our furbabies. They LOVE their new beds. They seemed a bit pricey at first, but considering how much we have spent on dog beds and the durability of these beds, I think it was money well spent.

If you’re dog is chewing something that much, he needs a release… like a walk. My Great Dane has had the bed from the time we got her and still uses it at 7 months. We have both the inside and outdoor Kong beds and haven’t had any problems.

Kong is a manufacturer of dog and cat toys, specializing in nearly indestructible chew toys made from rubber and nylon. The Kong dog bed is made with a nylon covering and proves to be more chew resistant than most commercial dog beds. Cleaning is easy, as the cover to the dog bed where your dog sleeps can be removed by the zipper. Cleaning the bed regularly will keep it smelling nice and kill any fleas, ticks or lice that could irritate your dog or make her sick. The Kong dog bed is described as a chew-resistant dog bed made of durable, nylon material. The outer cover is removable so it is easy to clean. Note that that the manufacturer describes it as “chew resistant” and not “chew-proof”. Although nothing is chew-proof, it is hard to say something is chew-resistant and not have a lot of people interpret it a different way.ome dogs just cannot be trusted with a regular bed. Notorious chewers will make short work of traditional stuffed beds, so you will have to try something a bit more durable if you want to keep the stuffing in and the dog teeth out. Kong’s chew-resistant dog bed promises greater durability than traditional dog beds, but follows many of the same general cleaning practices. The other complaints with the Kong dog beds are just with the durability. The majority of the reviewers state that the dog bed didn’t even last a day let alone a few months. Some of the dogs would chew off the tag or handle first then move to the seams or zipper. Some of them would chew holes right through the outer material first not even going for the ‘weaker’ areas like the zipper.
