Product Review: Lupine Roman Harness – My Imperfect Dog

Roman Harness:
Traditional non-restrictive harness with 4 adjustment points. The best fit for long bodied or deep-chested dogs. To use, unbuckle the clasp on the girth. The strap with the D-ring should be on top with the D-ring pointing towards the tail. Place the two adjustable shoulder straps over the dog’s head. Pick up the dog’s left front paw and place over the sternum strap, so that the strap passes between the front legs. Buckle the girth. Adjust the shoulders smaller to shorten the front-to-back length of the harness, or longer to move the girth back on the body. The sternum strap is adjustable as well. The girth should be on the ribcage all the way around.

Roman Harness for Large Dogs available in girth sizes: 20″-32″, 24″-38″ or 26″-44″

Lupine 3/4 Inch Heart 2 Heart Roman Dog Harness ** Awesome dog product. Click the image : Harnesses for dogs My dog can wear a 12"-20" Harness. Should I get a 1/2" wide or a 3/4" wide Roman/Adjustable Harness?
We use a body-weight of about 20 lbs. as the maximum size for 1/2" products. While 1/2" is light and easy to carry around, it does focus pressure on a smaller area. For this reason, some small dogs will find 3/4" wide products to be more comfortable.

Fall Fox Roman Style H Dog Harness - Hot Dog Collars

If you are considering a harness for a dog, and your main objective is to relieve pressure on the trachea, neck and spine, the Roman style is best. This harness relieves pressure from a dog's throat, and puts it on the shoulders and chest.

It is FABULOUS!!! Fits great and is easy to adjust and get on your dog. We love it!! and recommend it highly. I love their guarantee as well.I'm very pleased with the Roman harness (14-24" girth) and matching 4' Tail Feathers leash for my year old Cavalier. They are so pretty against his Blenheim coloring. They are like doggie Chacos! I have the front/neck parts and the under part tightened all the way and the girth strap adjusted to his measurement. Pretty perfect! There are many different types of available which means that you can choose according to your dog's needs and your preferences for color, textile and design. The main types of dog harness are the Roman harness, adjustable harness , H-harness and step-in harness.
